About the Australian Grand Prix

The Australian Grand Prix has been part of the Formula 1 calendar since 1985. It was first held in Adelaide and moved to Albert Park in Melbourne in 1996, and TicPro sells official Australian Grand Prix tickets for the race there.

Albert Park Circuit is a temporary street circuit built around a public park and a lake. The race is usually held early in the season and often shapes the momentum of the championship.

Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel are among the drivers with important results at Albert Park.

Albert Park Circuit

The circuit lies close to the centre of Melbourne. It combines public roads with permanent sections, high-speed stretches and technical corners, and the layout is fast and flowing. The lap is 5.278 km.

Recent changes to the layout aim at more overtaking while keeping the high speeds.
