About the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Baku City Circuit is a temporary street circuit through the historic centre of Baku and along the Caspian Sea waterfront. Azerbaijan GP tickets on TicPro are official tickets for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix held there.

The race joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2016 as the European Grand Prix and has been called the Azerbaijan Grand Prix since 2017. Hermann Tilke designed the circuit.

Several races in Baku have been unpredictable, often because of safety cars and overtaking on the long straights. Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Pérez and Daniel Ricciardo are among the drivers with important results here.

Baku City Circuit

The circuit lies in central Baku and was first used in 2016. At 6.003 km, it is one of the longest circuits in Formula 1.

The very long main straight is among the fastest in Formula 1, while the old city sections are tight and narrow, with one of the narrowest corners in Formula 1 by the medieval city walls.
