About Atlético Madrid

In Madrid, Atlético stand for a football culture of their own beside Real Madrid, with a loyal following and an intense atmosphere on matchdays. Since 2017 the club has played at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, on the east side of the city. It replaced the Vicente Calderón.
The stands are steep and run all the way round the pitch, so most sections give a clear view. Decide how close to the pitch you want to be, then choose the side. Booking early keeps more sections open to you.
The lower tier puts you close to the pitch. This is where you feel the intensity of the game.
Sections along the halfway line show the whole pitch and both penalty areas without turning your head.
The upper tier gives a full overview of the pitch and the stadium. From here you follow play across the whole pitch.

Take metro Line 7 to Estadio Metropolitano. The stadium is on the east side of Madrid, so plan your route from the centre in advance.
Arrive before kick-off to allow time for entry procedures and security checks. Requirements vary by ticket type and competition, and we recommend bringing valid ID.
Many visitors combine the match with a few days in central Madrid. On matchdays the home support at the Metropolitano is loud and well organised.
