The 2027 Champions League final is played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on 5 June 2027. It is a single match, with extra time and penalties if the score is level after 90 minutes.
The road to the final starts in the league phase. All 36 clubs sit in one league table, and each club plays eight different opponents, four at home and four away. The eight highest finishers go straight to the round of 16, and the clubs placed 9th to 24th play a two-legged knockout play-off. After the round of 16 come the quarter-finals and the semi-finals, and the two semi-final winners meet in Madrid.
