The Etihad opened as an athletics stadium and has been expanded in phases. The tiers therefore sit at noticeably different heights above the pitch. What you see from your seat tells you more than just a section number.

The stadium was rebuilt and later expanded, so the stands differ from each other. Choose your stand first, then lower or upper.
Seats level with the pitch, all the way around the stadium. This is where you feel the intensity of the game.
The stands added during the expansion sit high enough for you to follow play across the whole pitch.
This stand runs along the full side of the pitch and gives equally good sight of both penalty areas.
These categories may include access to a lounge and additional services. What is included is stated for each ticket category.
Hospitality covers several different lounges and services, so the name on its own tells you very little. What is included is stated for each ticket category, and that is what you should compare before you book.
Here you see what the lounge includes, not just the category name.
Hospitality seats are generally located along the sides, where you get the best view of the whole pitch.
Hospitality is released through the club and its authorised partners. We do not sell resale tickets.
The Etihad is served by Manchester's tram network and nearby rail stations. Fixing the journey home in advance is worth the five minutes it takes.
Come ahead of kick-off to allow for entry procedures and security checks. Requirements vary by competition and ticket type, and we recommend bringing valid ID.
The stadium sits inside a wider sports campus that fills up before kick-off, with the city's museums and music venues a short ride away.
About Manchester City
Manchester City Football Club was founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton), later becoming Ardwick Association Football Club, and took the Manchester City name in 1894. It joined the Football League in the late nineteenth century and has spent most of its history in the top tiers of English football.
The club's first major trophy came early, with the FA Cup in 1904.
Through the later twentieth century City moved between divisions before returning to the top flight. In the Premier League era the club has built sustained domestic success and a substantial presence in European competition, winning the Champions League for the first time in 2023.
Pep Guardiola managed the club from 2016 to 2026 and remains the most successful manager in its history. Among the players, Sergio Agüero is inseparable from the goal that took the title in the closing moments of the 2011–12 season.
Entry, delivery, hospitality and how the stands compare. These are the questions supporters ask us most before a match at the Etihad.
