Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: two matches a season

Liverpool and Crystal Palace meet twice a season in the Premier League, once at each ground: Palace's home match at Selhurst Park in South London and Liverpool's home match at Anfield.

The fixture has two famous results from the same season. In September 1989 Liverpool beat Palace 9–0 at Anfield. Seven months later the two clubs met in the FA Cup semi-final at Villa Park, and Palace won 4–3 after extra time to reach their first FA Cup final.

Liverpool won the 2024/25 Premier League, the club's 20th league title. That same season Palace won the FA Cup for the first time, and a few months later they beat Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield. Palace have since won their first European trophy, the Conference League.

Liverpool have played at Anfield since the club was founded in 1892, and Crystal Palace have played at Selhurst Park since 1924. Both matches are on this page.
