San Siro in 3DKnow your view before the Derby della Madonnina

The lower tier puts you close to the pitch, and from the upper tiers you see the whole pitch from above. Instead of guessing, open the 3D seat map, pick a block and see what the seat gives you before you book.

Where to sit at San Siro

San Siro has several tiers of stands around the pitch, so the choice is mostly about height and which side or end you sit on. Booking early gives you the widest range of seating categories.

Closest to the pitchLower tier

The lowest tier is closest to the pitch. You follow the play at pitch level, hear the challenges and see the players up close.

Full overviewUpper tier

From the upper tiers you see the whole pitch from above, so you can follow movement off the ball and the play as a whole.

Blocks along the halfway line show the full width of the pitch and both penalty areas without turning your head. These are also the seats nearest the dugouts.

Extras includedHospitality

Hospitality tickets include premium seating and additional services alongside the seat itself. What is included is stated on each ticket before you book.

Inter's organised supporter groups stand in the Curva Nord behind one goal. Expect noise and a standing crowd there, not a quiet seated view.

Getting there

San Siro is reached by metro and bus. Plan your route and your entrance in advance, because the stadium is large and the crowds build early.

When to arrive

Arrive well before kick-off. Entry checks take time at a ground this size, and entry conditions vary by ticket type and competition.

Around the ground

The area around San Siro fills up before kick-off. Many supporters combine the match with the centre of Milan, its restaurants and landmarks.

Fixtures that sell out first
High demandInter Milan vs AC Milan

The Derby della Madonnina is the match the whole city waits for. Both Milan clubs share San Siro, and the derby is the first fixture to run short of seats.

High demandInter Milan vs Juventus

Meetings with Juventus draw national attention every season, and tickets in most seating categories are limited.

High demandChampions League nights

Tickets for European matches at San Siro go quickly, especially from the knockout rounds. Book as soon as the fixture is confirmed to keep a choice of blocks.

About Inter Milan

FC Internazionale Milano was founded in 1908 with an international outlook, which is where the name comes from and which shaped its recruitment from the start. Inter is one of Italy's most successful clubs: it has won Serie A 21 times and the European Cup three times.

The defining season came in 2009-10, when Inter Milan took Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League in the same year, the first Italian club to do so. Among the great names in its history are Giuseppe Meazza, after whom the stadium is officially named, and Javier Zanetti, who played more than 850 matches for the club. The club competes today in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and, depending on qualification, UEFA competitions.

Home is San Siro, officially the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, opened in 1926 and redeveloped several times since, including for the 1990 World Cup. The ground is known for its multi-tiered stands and spiral towers, and it is shared with city rivals AC Milan, which makes the derby a home match for both sides.
